Most sexual abuse of children occurs in a residence, typically that of the victim or perpetrator – 84% for children under age 12 to 17. There is also a peak in assaults in the late evening hours. Why? Because that is when children are being cared for by someone other than their parents if their parents are working. That is the time frame for after-school care, whether it be with a relative, childcare provider, or after-school activity such as sports, tutoring, etc.
Every child deserves to grow up in a world free from harm. By joining the movement, you become a voice for the voiceless, a protector of innocence, and a champion for change. Together, we can educate, empower, and take action to safeguard our children—one child, one family, and one community at a time. Stand with us. Speak up. Be the change.
